We needed a new name that would help us tell our amazing story, and just in time for the holidays, we’ve found one. Global ARC is now CyberWell!
During the High Holidays, and particularly during the “Days of Awe” that culminate on Yom Kippur, the Jewish people are tasked with a unique challenge: turning deep introspection into committed action.
Since our launch, we’ve been actively introspecting, taking a look at how we tell our story to the world. In the process, we’ve brought our identity into sharper focus – and in doing so, realized that our current name doesn’t do a good enough job at reflecting the greater mission we’re so passionate about.
That mission is strong: launch the first live database of online antisemitism, drive the enforcement and improvement of digital community standards, and improve online spaces for all.
That’s an exciting mission, so when someone hears our name they should be excited. Intrigued. They should know that we’re not just a research resource or a database – we’re an ethical tech nonprofit that stands for a greater purpose: a safer digital future for the Jewish people. We needed a new name that would help us tell our amazing story, and just in time for the holidays, we’ve found one.
CyberWell is innovative. It’s positive. It illustrates not only how we use the most advanced Israeli tech and know-how to improve online spaces, but also evokes the idea of a physical well, a source of lifegiving water, the largest repository of knowledge on this subject to date. We are confident that with our new name, CyberWell will effectively recommit ourselves this New Jewish Year to leveraging and expanding our capabilities to generate meaningful impact in solving the social media accountability crisis.
To accompany our name change, we also gave our logo an update. The new logo remains true to our roots while refreshing our look, making us more approachable to the target audience we are looking to impact. The logo also conveys a sense of movement and action.
You’ll see our renewed identity reflected across our online presence, from website to social media, over the coming weeks. For those of you active on social media, now is the time to share, like and comment on our new name!
With gratitude and excitement,
The CyberWell Team
Antisemites wasted no time in blaming Jewish people for the New Orleans terror attack, turning the horrific incident into an anti-Jewish, conspiracy-fueled hate fest.
This is not a victory for free speech – it’s a systematic lowering of the bar that means less active enforcement from Meta against antisemitism and hate speech.
Our findings highlight how election-related discourse on social media has intensified the spread of dangerous conspiracy theories about Jews, with antisemitism emerging as a prominent feature in the political dialogue surrounding the U.S. elections on both sides of the political spectrum.
